What is your setup? Also what kind of case do you have? That can be a huge limiting factor

for air cooling, I would use CM hyper 212 EVO.
for liquid cooling, I would suggest Corsiar H100i.

those are most commen coolers, based on the reviews.

By setup I mean what Cpu, motherboard, etc... Now with that case you can get almost all coolers. I personally recommend the CM Hyper 212+ (the EVO is a bit more updated, but the 212+ is only 20 bucks right now). Now you Also you may want to get some extra fans to put into your case, so you can push more cool air in there. Here is a diagram to help determine air flow.

I heard good things about the Corsair Fans . You can go with some others as well. I don't think you want too much noise though.

ohhh and before I forget. Don't forget to buy good thermal paste for when you put in the new CPU Cooler.

Sorry for the double post, but this is going to be a dumb suggestion, but clean out your case and move it somewhere without little blockage of air flow (in case its in a cabinet or right next to a wall or something along those lines). and I just realized your specs are in your signature. I normally never look at those lol

My setup is Core i5 4670K/ MSI Z87-G45 / 8GB G Skill Ripjaws X 2133 Mhz. / Samsung 840 EVO 120GB SSD / 1TB Western Digital Black / MSI GTX 770 LIGHTNING/ Corsair RM750+80Gold(750W) / Thermaltake Commander MS-I Snow Edition

I will look for the hyper evo it seems works for quite a lot of ppl I wanted something smaller but I will have to get the big fan

And yes my case is in a open spot only the exhaust that it's near a wall
