amd fx6300 and asus gtx 780ti?

As the title says i am planning to upgrade my gpu to a 780ti will this work fine, im not bothered if it wont live quite up too its full potential as long as there wil be no major issues?

It will work, the 6300 is still a really nice CPU. The 780ti is just REALLY nice compared to it. Like others have said, look into overclocking, as it will even it out a bit.

It will work, make sure you have a good quality 600w+ PSU though, you can always upgrade to an FX 83XX at a later date.

Alternatively you could buy a GTX 970 and a new CPU with the leftover money.
