Hey all, I was about to buy a new GPU and I wanted to know if my current PSU can handle it.

The GPU I was looking to is the ASUS GTX760-DC2OC-2GD5

My current GPU is a GT 430 so this would be a huge upgrade for me.

My current specs:

i5-4690k
ASUS Z97 Pro mobo
500GB HD
128GB SSD
8GB ram
Some peasant monitor using VGA
Antec Basiq 500W PSU

Can the Antec Basiq hang?

I don't know what your budget looks like but I would shop around. A PSU around 750W would work well and you could go higher depending on your plans for the future. For higher efficiency, you want to be between ~30% to 70% load system-wise.

Well this whole project has just been an upgrade on my old rig. Basically I have replaced everything aside from the PSU and GPU. I was hoping my Antec would suffice but it looks like I may as well replace it and use it for a media box or something.

If I am going to upgrade then I will probably go for a 750w, I think this one is a good choice: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139055

Any other suggestions?

I will most likely go with that EVGA since it's modular, my case can use the extra room since raidmax decided to say "fuck cable management!" on the Blackstorm. Thanks for all the help.
