Hi guys, I have an HP xw 6600 Workstation. It has a dual-socket motherboard each with Intel Xeon E5450 Clocked at 3.0 Ghz, it has 8 gigabytes of RAM. Now, I was wondering that can I use this PC for high-end gaming? Like in ultra settings/60 Fps oh and 1080p. The part that confuses me is that will this PC support high-end graphics cards like NVIDIA GTX 770 4GB and whether upgrading this PC is worth it or not? Or should I just start building a new PC from scratch?

The motherboard specifications should tell you which PCIe version it supports. As long as that's compatible with the GPU you want to put in, then there should be no other problems and you should have a pretty good gaming experience. Not what I'd build as a gaming computer since it's probably a power hog, but one does not look a gift horse in the mouth, right? :)
