What Dual Core Processor will work on the Gigabyte Mother Board.

I have a Gigabyte GA-G41MT-ES2L I want to buy a dual core processor.. which processor I can buy for it?

Intel Core 2 duo or core 2 quad processors. Anything using Socket 775. I'd recommend something in the Core 2 Duo E8xxx or Core 2 Quad 9x50 series. I believe the Core 2 Quad 9x00 actually had a bug so I'd stay away from those. research more if you're interested.

Google the motherboard CPU support list click the GB link on the GB website click CPU support and pick one off the list that takes the first version of the Motherboard BIOS

If you go to the Gigabyte Website, they will have a complete CPU list of what will work, and what BIOS revision you need. It amazes me how many people come here and ask these type of questions. Do people really not know that that the first place to go looking for anwers about a particular hardware item, like Gigabyte, is the the manufacure's web site?
