Im trying to get the 650ti for my xps 420. There are so many 650ti out there that I just don't know what to buy.
ex: 650 ti (OEM), PNY 650 ti, EVGA 650 ti, MSI N650Ti-1GD5/OCV4, MSI N650Ti-1GD5/V1, GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 650 Ti OC, EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti (01G-P4-3650-KR), EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti SSC 1024MB (01G-P4-3652-KR), ASUS GTX650TI-O-1GD5, or 650 TI BOOST, 650TI BOOST OC and 650TI BOOST Superclocked.
First time upgrading something in the Computer.
will the 650ti (OEM) or the BOOST work with my system? Im not planning to change the PSU.

Solution
Why not just get a GTX 750 Ti. It is slightly faster than even the fastest 650Ti Boost, uses much less power, and runs cooler. Most don't even need a 6 pin connector.

I think you'll find 650ti 2gb boost is more up to chuff with the newer game's, run's Shadow of mordor, GTA 5 lovely :D
It's a shame though with the Vam useage for newer game's these day's, but just get a 27inch 1440p montor, turn off antialisting and play in 1080p and your fine.
I would reckonmend 960 4gb instead of the monitor but even though that card is new, nivida is not putting MFSS antialisting on it.
