When I play games on my PC the game will freezes it can be 1 hour into the game or 5 minutes. This started to happen to me when I purchased DayZ on Steam, then when I played the game it would give me Blue screens. I created a restore point and a backup on my computer before installing the game just in case I would run into problems, but now after restoring my computer to before I installed the game, my games freeze now. Now games like Borderlands 2, I have no audio coming thru and when i quit the game it freezes. Another game call of duty world at war gave me the blue screen after playing 1 hour with my friend. and the final game that I played Black Ops 1 multiplayer froze on me but didn't crash. I cleaned all inside my computer because i thought the dust was causing the issue but it wasn't. I also tried to do a Check Disk but it still does it. And I tried to upgrade windows 7 but it still freezes my games. Finally I did a memtest and my RAM is not the issue. I haven't tried all my games to see if they freezes but the games that did freezes never froze before, and never had problems with them.

Here are my specs:

Windows 7 64bit
Zotac GTX 770 4GB
Intel Core i5 3570k
600w PSU
8GB DDR3 RAM
Asrock H61M-HVS Motherboard
Western Digital 1TB HDD

I never overclocked anything. The only thing I did to my computer is upgrade the GPU from a Radeon 7770 to a GTX 770. I had problems in the past with my GPU so I reset my computer and reinstalled windows and everything was fine unil now. My CPU is also water cooled.

So how do I fix the freezing?

You say you have a 600W PSU. What is its brand + model? If it's a low tier PSU, the jump from HD 7770 to GTX 770 can actually cause problems for it, and give the signs you're currently having.

I never had a problem with my PSU, I had my GTX 770 for 1 year now and no problems with the power

Still doesn't rule it out. If a PSU runs over its capacity for extended periods of time, it loses the amount of power it can provide. If you give us the brand + model, we'll tell you whether it's likely or not that it's your PSU.
