Upgrading CPU Cooler for FX-8320

Hi,

I am considering upgrading my cpu cooler to help reduce both noise and cpu temps. I currently have a Zalman CNPS9500A-LED cooler. My cpu is running @ 4.5 GHz on 1.425 volts while the cooler is running at 100% rpm constantly. During Prime95 burn tests (all 8 cores at 100% load) my cpu reaches 62 degrees celcius in about 15 minutes. If I continue the burn test to 30 minutes the temperature slowly rises to 70. I have never gone beyond that for fear of damaging my cpu.

Does anybody have any recommendations for a good water cooler? I want to be able to run my overclock 24/7 and not have to worry about temps exceeding 62 degrees celcius, while at the same time reducing the noise that my cpu cooler currently makes. My case is a nzxt phantom 410 which has support for liquid cooling and I have two spare 140mm fans that I could add to a cooler to create a push-pull configuration.

The whole reason I am in this situation in the first place is because I read great reviews on the cooler I have right now and I loved the low price (im quite cheap). Considering the kind of overclocking I am doing, I don't think my cooler can handle it. I have been looking into the corsair water coolers but im not sure what sort of temperature difference you get between the H50, H90, H110 etc. I hate how all of them are so much more than I paid for my cooler because im a poor university student right now, so I am looking for the best value. I like the idea of the H90 because it is has great reviews but I don't know if it will be that much cooler than what I have right now.

TL;DR I am looking into upgrading to a water cpu cooler and am wondering if anyone has advice on good performance for good value. I want to spend as little as possible to keep my CPU within safe temps (62 degrees celcius).

I would recommend the h100i if you have space for it because it preforms nearly identical to the h100 and has corsair link to control fans. Right now I am at 4.5 with same cpu @ 1.4725 volts and at 100% load temps never went past 55. Im using an H60 (h100i is alot better have one installed on my intel) with 2 cougar fans in push pull with ic diamond thermal paste. Just make sure you have enough space in your case

Hmmm, im assuming that because im running @ 1.425 volts my CPU would stay at slightly lower temps with the same cooler. What CFM are the cougar fans you are using? How well ventilated is your case?

If I added one cougar far with 70 CFM to the H60 and left the stock corsair fan on the other side do you think I would get fair temperatures?

Edit: I think the H100i is too much money for me right now, thanks for the recommendation though.

H80i is $95 which is quite a bit... i'm almost thinking right now it would be better to lower my overclock to 4.2 GHz and stick with the cooler Ive got...

Anyways, thanks for the help :)
