Hello everyone, I've recently acquired a couple things a friend was just going to throw away, a radeon hd 6970 and a corsair hx750. I'm having trouble with the new psu and my mobo though. The psu came with no cords, which is alright I guess as my acessory cables will still work as it's all 6 pin pci, and the 20 pin with the psu plugs right in to my mobo.

The problem though, is that my cpu is powered by a 4 pin atx off the mobo, and the PSU has a 6 pin pci labelled CPU. Right now the psu only has the two non-removable cables, the 20 pin and the 6 pin. What would be my best solution? I'm not a tech guru so I was hoping maybe a 6 pin pci female to 4 pin atx male adapter might exist but no luck finding it.

Thanks

6 pin labelled CPU? :s that's strange, the EPS is usually 8 pin and sometimes 4 pin, never seen a 6 pin.

That is the PSU side of the cable, the 6 pins is what goes in the PSU and the other end should be a 4, 4+4, or 8 pin

Actually the 8 pin is already attached on the HX. It is a semi-modular which means the 24pin and the 4+4 cpu connectors are non-removable.
