I recently (hasn't even been a week yet... 5 days I believe) bought a brand new Sapphire R9 280 Dual-X from my local Microcenter because it was on sale for $175. I'm really happy with the purchase except I've run into a few problems.
I play a lot of games, but BF3 is my favorite. Unfortunately, I just can't play it. For some reason my screen freezes randomly while in game and more often then not I'll CTD right afterwards. There have even been instances where BF3 won't even launch and will "Stop working" right as it loads. I've already set my FX-8320 to it's factory issued clock speed (was previously overclocked to 4.7), but that seems to have no effect. I've made sure my RAM speed is at it's factory issued clock as well. I'm currently using the latest Drivers (14.9), but I've even tried reverting to what was given with the GPU (14.4) and that did not work either. I just can't figure out whats causing these crashes... I don't crash at all in BF4. I can game for hours in Ultra with no problem, but BF3 just isn't working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
