Why is that when I overclock my CPU at 3.5GHZ, I can't access the bios but it boots up to windows. I think I should add voltage but I don't know where to add. Does anybody know?. My pc specs are
CPU - Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400
RAM - GSkill Ripjaws X 1866 DDR3 2x4GB
MBoard - GA-EP43T-UD3L

That doesn't make sense to me.

You say "when I overclock" which implies you've done it more than once. That means you can get back into your BIOS somehow, but you've said you can't?

Do you have to clear the CMOS to go back into the BIOS?

Other:
If you aren't crashing in Windows and running a program like Prime95 on the CPU results in no errors there's no reason to change your voltage as things are stable.

I would suggest you run MEMTEST for a full pass if you haven't done so, and update your BIOS if it's not the latest.

www.memtest.org (should take about 30 minutes)

BIOS: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=...

(I recommend the latest BETA F10D)

Drivers: You might find updated drivers at INTEL's site. Go to their support section and run the program to auto scan your system. It will then tell you if there are any updates as your motherboard manufacture often doesn't have the latest.

Yes I've done it more than once, but the thing is when It's overclock on 3.5 GHz my keyboard doesn't respond. When I press delete key or tab to show bios or bios info, it won't respond and it just boots up my OS then I will go to ET6 to get default setup then reboot that is when I can get to bios. When I overclocked it on 3.4GHz it works fine, I can get to bios.
