Hi , new to this forum and asking for help upgrading firmware on adata sp900 ssd.Since i'm basically a push the buttons and see whats on the screen type of person with really no knowledge on computers, please bear with me and help answer a hopefully simple question. I would like to update the firmware version on my adata sp900 ssd (c drive. OS) when reading the instructions it is said that the "firmware will delete my data" Now does that mean everything on the C drive? the os PLUS programs and software that i have installed and personal folders? or the os remains but all the stuff that i've installed after that is deleted ? If i make an "system image " using Win7 backup and create system image and store it on 1 of my HDDs ( which i know how to do ,ha ha ) When i restore my image will it go back to the old SSD version again ? OR when the firmware upgrades i will have to reinstall Win7 ? Thanks for any help, most appreciated

Hi, wow this has got be lost, i was planing to download the files from Adata website , unrar them on desktop, then run the update. Sorry mate usb disk never done, used, tried or heard about, i did warn you inexperienced to say the least. 'Use the Acronis Migration tool for mirroring' so i dont use Win7 system image? Will read about that on the guide later,When you say mirror that just means copy the image ? is that right. Thanks Derek
