Yes, Depends on how the program reads the ram speeds, with CPU-z you have to multiply by 2. Other programs you might not.
Thanks And do you know what Intel Processor Graphics Memory Allocation means in my BIOS? It is set as 64M but can go to 1024M, should i set it that high and will it make my iGPU better?
Its basically like dedicating system ram as Vram, albiet a much slower alternative but yes it should help iGPU performance. I'd personally give it 512MB and leave it at that. I doubt any more than that would help.
Would my PC explode if i put it up to 1024M? Also does a CPU get hotter when using the iGPU? God i cant wait to get my R9-280
Won't hurt anything at all, temperature doesn't change much when using the iGPU, couple degrees at most.

DDR literally is an abbreviation for DOUBLE DATA RATE, so you take that and multiply by 2.
^this
Also why does CPU-Z measure it like this? Is there some technical reasoning I am missing? It'd cause a whole lot less confusion if they just multiplied it themselves.
Hahah its just a legacy thing, DDR memory was not the only type long after its released, so they show the base value to accommodate the other standards of memory. Those other standards are dead and buried now but the legacy remains.
Ah, that makes a bit more sense now, thanks for the information.
