Which mobo should I pick? MSI Z87-GD65 gaming or MSI Z97 gaming 7 (CPU:I5 4690K)

I will build a new pc.I have two choice to choose a motherboard,
MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming or
MSI Z97 gaming 7
Which is better for I5 4690K?

The i5-4690K requires a Z97 motherboard. So out of those 2 the only compatible one is the MSI z97 gaming 7.

You can still use Z87 on Devil's Canyon CPU. Just need to update BIOS for latest CPU microcode.
There's a newer version of the MSI Z87 GD65, the Z97 GD65:

The differences are minimal. The Gaming 7 has M.2 and the GD65 has mSATA.
Plus the Gaming 7 has more overclocking room for the RAM, witch can be overclocked to 3300Mghz. 300mgz more than the GD65.

Ah, yes you are correct, I was unaware of that update.
I would still go for the MSI z97 Gaming 7. It'll be relevant longer, and it does have 4 more USB 3.0 ports. I think worth the extra $10.
