im new to overclocking and I've been researching how to overclock my gtx 770, I read I can possibly gain 2-4 extra fps, although to me it dosn't sound a lot but is it beneficial to playing games have a few extra fps?

Warning! if you break your card it is NOT our fault!

Let me just stop you there, Overclocking highly depends on cooling, good cooling better over clock.
in some games you will gain 2-4fps with a low over clock, with a extreme overclock you should never do on air cooling, expect 10-17fps boost. If you can give me the model of your 770 i could be of more help. the gigabyte cards OC quite well.

BTW I recommend MSI afterburner, its a great over'clicking' tool :p

PS: i don't recomend messing with the voltage until you know what your doing

Hey! nice card, just brought one my self... sadly it was faulty.

Anyway with that card you can really get into some good overclocking.
and btw results may very. On some cards you can get a nice 1400Mhz core and some times with the exact same model you can only get an extra 100-200Mhz boost.

BTW heres a more in depth guide.

Now its for the 760 but they are basically the same card and have the same features
