Hi, I have P8P67-m pro and I have a problem with the Graphic card location.
I put it on the 2nd slot (the white PCIe_16) and everyone tells me it's not really x16.
I use only 1 GPU and my CPU cooler blocks the first slot.
Are the 2nd and the 1st slots the same when only 1 GPU is plugged?
Will they work the same speed?

Yes, the 2nd one (white) is not the pcie2.0x16, it is the pcie2.0x8, but you are fine to use it, and there is not difference in performance between x16 and x8. Here is the review. http://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/Impact-of-PCI...

And back to the problem, you may try to update the intel chipset driver first, https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?Dwnld... and also clear the CMOS by removing the battery, because the driver had the pice controller, try update it to see the GPU can be recognized in the 1st pice slot. And if you feel you can do the BIOS update, then try it too. If you don't feel comfortable with it, just use the 2nd pice slot. Because the 1st pice may be broken if you try update the chipset driver and BIOS, and it still don't work.
