Hi so usually google and this site help me answer my problems but i cant figure this out at all.
Like other posters i went to work one day and came back to my machine saying to plug in an ethernet cable. Uninstalled reinstalled drivers/restarted modem a bunch of times(still have wifi on phone though)/changed which port its plugged into on the modem/and even did the drain thing where i held the power down while it was unplugged. The tv is plugged into the modem directly and works fine also.
So a day later i pick up a new ethernet card and cable. Install new card drivers and try swapping out both cables. No combination of old and new products work. Old ethernet card was the default one on my mobo.
I dont get it at all. And im not about to reinstall windows.
