My computer OS crashed, i then tried to format the HDD, this took ages and still could not install the OS properly, so I suspected that the HDD might be damaged, then i installed a brand new 500 GB hard disk, even for that i could not install the OS.

So I removed the hard disk and installed in to another PC, i was able to install the OS without any problem, can some one sudjest me whats wrong with the system. I'm suspecting the RAM or the Motherboard itself, your comments appriciated

This is the motherboard's problem. The motherboard basically registers that you have an OS and which one the system has.

So the best way to fixed this is to tell us more information (e.g, what happened, what did you try to do, etc).

And is your OS an OEM version?

At the Installation processed, when it formats the HDD, it says that media might have been damaged, so i replaced with a brand new HDD, even for the new one the result was same, so I installed the two HDD (New & Old) i was able to install without any problem on both the drives
