Upgrading video card

I have a Ge force GT 520 1029.83 mb memory. I want to upgrade card for gaming something faster in rendering. Any suggestions looking for good card but not taking out a loan to buy lol

Cybertronpc GM 221 /motherboard: asus m5a78l-mlx-plus,Ge Force gt 520 1029mb memory. Running windows 7 home premium. Amd Phenom II x4 B55 processor. I don't know what all you need I am new to this . Still learning. Appreciate the help. Budget up to $250 or so.

PSU size would be helpful but geforce GTX750 or 750Ti both would run on a modern 300watt PSU no problem.

I recommend the R9 280X. But have at least 500W for the whole system and the graphcis card included.

It will do but with your phenom I would not go higher on GPU than R9 280 or GTX760. Even R9 270 would be good.

Yeah you are looking into bottlenecks here. So how about upgrading the CPU and motherboard to get a high end graphics card.

Really GTX750Ti or R7 265 would be about the most I would put on the Phenom.
