Hello,
Ideally I would like to use 3 27" dell monitors. But I am not sure what upgrades I need in order to do so

Here are my specs

CPU = AMD FX(tm)-6100 Six-Core Processor 3.31 Ghz
Motherboard = ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0
RAM = 24GB
PSU = DX-520WPS 520W
Current Video Card = EVGA Geforce GT 610 2GB DDR3 Memory Video Graphics Card by NVIDIA EVGA model #02G-P3-3619-KB

I will primarily use the new Video Card for work. I run hyper-v images and connect to clients on remote desktop.

I have a hdhomerun to watch cabletv
Some gaming. Like Farm simulator, nothing to resource intensive

If I use a dual link dvi-i cable can I run 2 of these monitors off my existing GPU?
And if that is the case can I get another similar card and run a third 27" monitor off this card as well as hooking up my existing Syncmaster P2570HD using the micro HDMI?

Thank you,
Chris

You can get something like R9 280x. AMDs Eyefinity is behaving better than nVidia Surround. Also, one can hook up 3-4 monitors to a single AMD cards, while not all nVidia cards can run 3 monitors by themselves. For multiple minors AMD behaves better than nVidia.

I would like to run WQHD on at least one of the monitors. Ideally with the option to run WQHD on all three. I don't really have a budget in mind, But I would like to stay under 1000$. I am not looking to do any resource intensive gaming which is why I thought the 2 GPU card solution might save me a couple of bucks.

See primary use above. Not much gaming I just need the high resolution as I do software development and like to be able to have all my property windows open at the same time.
