I've got an integrated graphics card. What I want to do is add a dedicated one. The last time I did that it didn't work. There was an exclamation mark in the ''device manager'' and I couldn't tell what the problem was. How do I make it work? Thanks in advance. :)

What motherboard do you have? Your system is very underpowered. I hope you're not assuming a different graphics card will allow you to play new games because I'm afraid it won't...

The motherboard *should* work OK with a separate GPU but won't if it's faulty of course. Your processor is very old, you don't have very much RAM and the RAM you have may even be DDR2 as your motherboard supports DDR2 or DDR3. I expect your HDD is also based on older technology so is also slowing performance.

What graphics card did you put into the machine before and what steps did you take to try and make it work?
