Hello, I recently got a new pc with a Gigabyte AMD R9 280X Graphics card. As you can see it only has one DVI-D port and one HDMI port. I want to connect two monitors to this graphics card, and am now in a dilemma, because the monitors I want BenQ VW2245Z only have DVI and VGA input. Ok, so I can connect one monitor through a DVI cable, but what about the other one. Can I connect it also via a DVI cable and use a DVI to HDMI adapter at the graphics card port? Will this work fine, as I want to extend the desktop over the two monitors, I don't want a duplicate signal. Thanks.

Yup, use any cheapo HDMI-DVI adapter, you should be fine.
