Hardisk not detected

Hey Guys,
I have problem with my hardisk which is not been detected in bios .I connected another hardisk to my system it is been detected.I Want to know what about the first hard disk.
Before when the hardisk is in use I kept it for formatting it became very slow that it became more than two and half hours and when it was restarted it has been not detected. I Tried by connecting different cables and power cables but it did`nt worked .I have tried different hardisk but its been detected.I have searched in the google but it does`nt help....

have you tried the harddisk in another system since the problem started ?

If disk #1 isn't detected, but your system detects disks #2, 3, 4, etc...then disk #1 is pretty much gone. You might be able to use a utility program or a device to pull the data off it, but chances are going to be slim.

Hello there,

It's not a good sign if the HDD is not detected in BIOS. You should try connecting it to a different system. There is not much left to try in such a case.

that would mean that you need a hdd replacement .. the drive is pretty much dead .. truly sorry

well i dont know of a way since the drive is not even being detected at all .. there is no way to get back the data from a dead drive

In such case the only option is to take the drive to a data recovery company. Sorry for your drive.
