PC doesn't boot after ram upgrade.

So for about 2 years of using single 4gb ram stick I have finally decided to upgrade my rig to 8gb, bought 2x 4gb sticks of http://www.kingston.com/en/hyperx/memory/fury and switched with my old 4gb goodram. Now the problem as it seems to me is that no data is processed from the very start up. I do not get any classic BIOS beeps and screen remains black. For the record, I'm using this mainboard http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P8H61M_LX/, as far as I understand both specifications, this setup should run easily on 1333mhz fixed frequency. Things to note: HDD diode does not blink at all, switching back to old 4gb goodram stick didn't help either.

EDIT: After doing battery trick twice, PC booted up though only on one memory stick. Ill look into BIOS now. I appreciate the help, thanks.
EDIT2: It does seem like second ram slot doesn't work/is turned off somehow.
