Could my MOBO be dying?

I'm going to try to summarize this as best I can.

I was having some keyboard issues 2 days ago while playing BF4 some of the keys weren't registering and were having high latency. I plugged in a different keyboard with the same effect. After rebooting my system the issue seemed to fix itself.

Yesterday I was having some network issues and found that after running speedtest.net I was getting normal download but getting an error when attempting to upload. I've ruled out the possibility of it being my ISP or modem (I don't have a router). I get lots of timed out requests when pinging google. I've power cycled my modem several times. I've tried disabling both the firewall and my virus protection, still no luck.

The only recent changes is I moved into a new (older) building last Monday and I got a new Nvidia gtx 970 rougly 2 weeks ago.

I'm thinking it could be a hardware issue or a power issue. The building I just moved into is relatively old and the lights flicker when I use my 900 watt Microwave. I have my modem, my computer a 23 inch dell monitor and my Acer 1080p Gsync monitor pluged into one power strip.

If it's not a power issue I'm thinking my mobo may be dying... What do you guys think?

Can you please list your specs for us, particularly the mobo, PSU, CPU and if you have water or air cooling. Thanks :)  Also, unplug the microwave, especially if you know there is an issue with dodgy power supply in the building. On that note you should also get a surge protector, especially if you insist on having so many high drain pieces of equipment plugged in to one socket. Failing that, just don't have the microwave plugged in to the same socket as the PC.

all of my specs are in my signature, I'm all air cooled but my temps are fine.

I am pluged into a surge protector.

The microwave isn't on the same outlet as my system.

My bad, I misread and for some reason signatures weren't showing up :/  It does sound as though there could be an issue with the Ethernet port in that case. I guess the first step would be to verify that there are no physical abnormalities on the board, so you could pop it open and check for any visible issues. Next would be to run a check on the motherboard drivers, specifically those for the ethernet port.

After that try the standard last ditch test by whipping out the GPU and all but one stick of ram and then, if the issue stops, start adding things back in until something fails. You could also try testing the system with a different PSU, though to be honest, if there are no other problems then I can't imagine it being a PSU issue.
