Hello im new to this site here's my problem. I tried everything but the Monitor keeps saying no DVI or VGA input and it goes to sleep mode. So far for the past 3 days I have tried GPU slot change,RAM slot change,CPU check. Cable cords all of them are connected fine and running on the Motherboard. My Motherboard is ASRock 970 Extreme 3 but when it comes to connecting my Graphic card which is the Nvidia 660TI with a DVI - D cable cord since my monitor only allows the DVI - D connection to it. But after trying all of the possible solutions my monitor has not receive anything from my PC. On it the monitor just keeps going to sleep mode so I really have no idea what's going on. I might have to get a new motherboard of the same type. :??:  I just got my Cooler Master HAF 912 and I really don't know what happen after a case change. The monitor just keeps saying no input and it goes to sleep mode. I tested my monitor on another PC and it works perfectly fine so it's not my monitor. Today I just took the battery out of my motherboard for 15-30 minutes and put it back in it comes out same results. So im really out of options here now. Also the motherboard does not have it's own VGA outlet only a graphic card can give display screen. so if you have any advice please write it down in the comments thanks :)

What leads you to believe the motherbd is actually working to generate a video output?

Because when I unplugged the cable cord to the monitor and plug it back in the light stays blue for a bit then it goes back to sleep mode. So it has to be the motherboard. I tested it with another graphic card and it does the same thing so it's the Mobo that is not working correctly. But I just wanted to make sure before I buy a new motherboard I thought I came on here to see if there's any advice before I do buy a new motherboard.
