So, my PC is REALLY trash. But, I will get a new computer. However the wait will be long so I decided maybe to upgrade the computer I currently have.

Here are the current specs:

AMD E-300 dual-core processor
AMD Radeon HD 6300 graphics
4 GB ram

What new specs would be:

AMD FX 6300
AMD Radeon HD 7770 graphics
8 GB ram

Will this upgrade work on a 2 and a half year old mother board and will this run minecraft 60 fps max settings? Thanks!

More about : half year upgrade

Without knowing the full specs, especially the motherboard, I can't say. The mobo will be the determining factor in this (and the version of Windows you have)
If it's an OEM pc (HP, Dell, etc) theres a good chance that processor may not work, but please provide complete specs of the system.

Isn't that a notebook or tablet? If so there is no way to upgrade it.

OEM - original Equipment manufacturer, like HP, Dell, Gateway, etc.

I think it's acer.

We would need the model # of the Acer, OEM's (Like Acer) generally limit the upgradibility of processors by the motherboards having a limited bios.
I would bet that the motherboard in that system would not support that big of a jump in a processor (but impossible to be certain without at least the model #)
That SHOULD be somewhere on the case, or on a tag on the computer some where - the back maybe?)
Also, the windows operating system needs to be 64 bit to use more than 4gb of memory - go to control panel, click system & it will tell you if it is 32 or 64 bit.
The graphics card depends on wehether the motherboard has the correct slots or not & if the system is a 'mini' tower or a standard or full tower- again, need the model #.
