I tried to install the Official NVIDIA 344.16 WHQL Display Driver with a single GTX 970 installed aswell as a single GTX 680 dedicated to PhysX. But after several failed attempts, it continued to tell me that the graphics driver failed to install. However when I took the 680 out and installed the 344.11 driver it worked fine. I then installed the 680 card and dedicated it to PhysX.

I am assuming this is some sort of support issue that has to do with the 680? I would like to have the 344.16 over the 344.11 driver if possible.

Any suggestions?

From what I remember, .16 was merely a compatibility fix for a couple of specific brands of cards in the 900 series. There were no profile or performance improvements over .11. I would say if .11 is working for you as you would like it to, let well enough alone.

Sounds reasonable. If there are no gains over 344.11 than I will leave it be until a larger update comes out. I am planning on replacing the 680 with another 970 to run in SLi soon once I have the money.
