This may not be the right website for a question like this but I am having alot of trouble finding the answer.

I have a lighting fixture normal 2 prong USA plug, but both sides of the plug are polarized, meaning they both have the large blade and I cannot fit it into any socket! Are there any adapters for this or will I just have to replace the part?

Can you post pictures of the socket. I have never seen both large blades before as that is not standard for an outlet. This makes me think it is for a 220v but that would be really weird for a light fixture.
