Hi, I have desktop PC. It wont pass BIOS screen. I tried jumpers, took out CMOS battery and cant detect keyboard. I removed HDD, DVD, changed places of RAM... If I can enter BIOS settings when I slide suddenly it freezes. I didnt found problem. Thank you.

Are you using the same RAM which came with the Vostro 230?
Did you change any of the machine's hardware before it stopped working?
Do you have access to another compatible power supply to test the Vostro 230's motherboard with?
