Windows 8.1 Installation Crashing

Hi there,
About a week ago, I decided that I'd finally put my memory stick with ubuntu on to use. However windows 7 didn't seem to like this as it crashed every time I booted it up. On one of the times I was lucky enough to get into Win 7, I deleted the partition that Ubuntu was on, not knowing that this really wouldn't help. So after that I tried to boot up my pc, all it did was give me grub rescue. I then tried booting a fresh install of Windows 7, but that too constantly crashed. So I decided to try and get Windows 8.1 to work, considering I've had a key for a while now, just too lazy to do something about it.

Today I tried loading up the Windows 8.1 install disk. It works until it gets up to 6%, then crashes like Windows 7 did. I tried taking the drive that had all the Ubuntu crap on before and that made no difference.

If anyone can help, that'd be great.
Thanks

I've already tried wiping the ubuntu drive and formatting it. That didn't work, so I tried taking that drive out and installing it to my 2tb, but it still crashes during installation.

Yeah it's legit, it doesn't say anything, my pc just freezes when around 7% through the installation.

I've tried 2 hard drives and neither made a difference. The other stuff wouldn't make a difference either.
