Im planning to build a PC for gaming and video Editing .
Im just a Amateur in building computers and this is my first Intel Build.

My build specs are as follows :-

CPU - i5 4440
Motherboard - Asus H97 Plus/Pro
GPU - GTX 970
SMPS - Antec VP650PM ( Modular )
Ram - 8GB Corsair XMS3
HDD - 1TB WD Blue
CPU Cooler - DeepCool Gammaxx 200
Monitor - BenQ 27" 1080p Monitor ( DIdnt choose yet )

Will there be any problems in the build or will there occur any possible bottlenecks ?
Im quite tight on budget so thats the reason why i didnt choose 4690k ...
I will be using this Rig for the next 2-3 Years so I need it future proof.

Bottle-necking a GPU is alot harder than people make it seem. You should be totally fine.

I actually have a BenQ 27" and I notice NOTHING different from my 1080p hp Pavilion 22bw monitor 22 or 23" or something like that. Only thing I notice is the size and the Price, especially the price..

You will not require an aftermarket cooler for your processor.
Get a xfx 550 watt PSU good quality PSU and enough power even for OCing the card and its much better in quality than antec vp series.
Get 2x4 gb of ram in pair (dual channel performs 20% faster than single)

Except these you have a strong build which will give you great performance even after 3 years.

you might want to get
gigabyte or asrock H97
msi twinfrozr v/ Gigabyte gtx 970 4gb
seasonic S12II 520w

you wont needing a cpu cooler because you have a lock proc. there wont having any problem on that build.

I already have that cpu cooler so anyways im going to use it
And should i change the PSU ? Im just making it futureproof coz 550W and 650W doesnt have a big price difference ...

if you already have the vp 650 then no need to change it.

yes the board and GPU are compatible if you haven't bought the PSU yet then get the xfx 550 or 650 watt whatever you want.
