Now I am not sure if this is a stupid question, if it is I am sorry. My RAM went bad and I rely on my desktop heavily for work. I am going to be sending my RAM back to the manufacturer because it is still under warranty, but in the meantime my computer is going to be down. My question is, can I use ReadyBoost on one of my 8GB flash drives without the RAM sticks in the PC just to be able to use my PC for email and the internet?

You can use ready boost and the usb flash drive as a "poor mans SSD" set up ,would think a 16-32 GB stick best and load yr Start Up on to it so you have rapid start up ect ,so for work ,as you do maybe load operating system and word processor software .BUT still got fix your RAM 1st Im afraid .
