Hello!

My girlfriend has a problem. She was talking with me on skype and then all of a sudden her laptop froze. After restarting it doesn't load. It stops on a blue screen where usually you've to enter the password.
Tried Safe Mode > didn't work.
Tried Repair > didn't work.
Tried Last Known Configuration > didn't work.

Any suggestions?

Could you provide some details on the blue screen? Is there an error message? If yes, what message are you seeing?

No, it doesn't show anything. http://techgage.com/articles/motherboards/settings/spri...
It shows up almost exactly like this, but without Welcome text.

Not sure this will help but you try reseating the RAM. Try that and see if it makes a difference.

She couldn't do that at the moment, but what else might be a problem? It's a laptop by the way from HP. The last downloaded programm was a game called League Of Legends. She was just talking with me and her pc froze, after a restart, a computer loads only to a Welcome screen and nothing else. She can't launch a Safe mode nor repair thing.

Does she have any external devices attached such as an external hard drive or even a flash drive attached? Can she get into the BIOS and reset the BIOS settings to the default settings?
