I have my OS on a 120GB SSD. I also have a 2TB hard drive. Anytime I download a program, it goes into the program files folder on the C drive and cuts down on space. I have a few gigs partitioned for Linux, and have a couple large programs, but I definitely do not have enough programs to fill up the SSD already. Regardless it says I only have 1GB left on my C drive. This has made using the computer difficult because there are still programs that I'd like to download. Everything else (photos, music, etc) I have been saving to the hard-drive, including the install files for the programs. However as soon as I install them, they are installed into the C drive. Is there any way to disable that? everything I've found online so far says that I can choose where to save programs (which is true) but it doesn't say that I can choose where it installs to.

The prob with trying to install on another hdd is. With some programs you can change where you want to install it

Only thing is some programs dont like being installed on anything else but C. Some just wont run if it theyre not on C.
