I want to upgrade a Dell Optiplex 755.

Solution
You shouldn't. This card does not require external power. It does ask for a 400W power supply and if I recall those 755's had a 390-400W supply in them. If you wanted to be safe, you could get the GTX 750 instead of the GTX 750Ti but I think you should be fine with a Ti.

ehh, I'm seeing lots of 305W supplies in there. You might want to check on yours.

Nah....

Just add in a GTX 750Ti. He probably has a Core 2 Duo at or very near 3.0GHz already. 4GB of system RAM with a 64-bit OS and it will be very playable.

$140.00 to make BF4 very playable on your system.

If you have a slim desktop or SFF version of the 755, watch out for the size of this GPU. If you have the regular desktop or mid-tower version of the 755, this card will slip right in there.

Hi and Thanks for replying! I'm retired, meaning I have loads of time, but little money...funny how that worked out. Anyway, I figured the case might be useful at least. Right now I'm using a geforce 8600-gts card and I can play some online games. Got a whopping 5.7 on windows experience. Im trying to figure out how to post my specs but no go yet.

You won't go above a 5.7 until you replace your hard drive with an SSD. Windows Experience rating should not be taken seriously.

I stand by my recommendation. Also, he is not gaming in 1920x1080. He is using 1280x1024. He will be ok.
