So i've had my laptop for about 4 years now and it runs fine but there are a lot of games out there that i want to play so much but my laptop can't handle them for some reason. In minecraft, i run an average of about 13 fps. Here are my laptop's specs:

Intel Core i5-480M
Intel HD Graphics
4GB DDR3 Memory

What is the weak part of my laptop (for gaming)? I feel like it's my GPU but when i searched it up i got a lot of mixed reviews. probably you guys can help! Thank you!

TBH all parts are not to good for gaming. You could put more ram but it wont make much a difference, the laptop is old, and modern games wont work to well.

The Intel integrated graphics will kill a laptop's gaming performance every time.

And before you ask, no, you can't upgrade your laptop's graphics card.

Your Intel Core I5 Is good For Gaming, But About Ram and Graphics Memory, It is Very low.
So you have to upgrade your ram and Graphics card If it is Upgradable.

The GPU is definitely the weakest link, followed by the processor. Like ThatVietGuy said, you can't upgrade a laptop GPU and chances are you won't be able to upgrade the CPU either. Even if you could, it wouldn't be worth the effort.

If you want a gaming laptop, you're looking at £1000 minimum here in the UK.
