Not to mention ps plus which is $60 a year. Let's say you have it for 5 years: 5*60=$300. Then add the cost of the system ~$450+$300= $750 already and you don't even get PC functionality. Let's not forget about warranty either here. I own a PS4. Trust me.

Slightly altered build from MasterDell's, I added slightly faster ram and a graphics card with a better cooler. The case is a personal touch so go with whatever you find aesthetically pleasing.

Yeah that's basically my build :p I could have got the faster RAM but I hate the looks of the sniper series.
