Pc i bought came with 1gbx1 and 2gbx1. Will I have any issues replacing the 1gb with a 4gb so that I will have 2gbx1 and 4gbx1? If not should i just swap out the 1gb for the 4fb or put the 4gb where the 2gb is and move the 2gb to where the 1fb is now? It is a lenovo pc tilapia CRB.

As long as the memory sticks are IDENTICAL in brand, timings, voltage, manufacturing date, and model, it should be OK to pair them up any way you want. Dual channel memory systems can be very picky with mis-matched memory. But if you want to be assured of problem free use, always use MATCHED pairs of memory in a dual channel memory system. Also, you will be running at the slightly slower single channel mode with mis-matched sizes of memory.
