I already have two 1440p monitors and will be getting a third one for free soon. I have one 290x about to be water-cooled and am planning on ordering a second one water-cooled. Would two 290xs push frame rates on triple 1440p? Games I play is titan fall, star citizen and games like that.

It will be fine , it will act closer to R9 295x2 .

Just don't expect very high framerates , It will get good framerates on Medium-High settings.

I don't have benchmarks unfortunately but that's based on previous reviews and thoughts , I might be mistaken however.

Well, it really depends on the games specific usage of Crossfire. Simple math would equate to if one 290x can push two, if average of 75% scaling occurs, then 1 and 3/4s 290x's should be able to handle 3 with a .46 remainder to bump up framerates. But bear in mind not every game has optimizations for sli and if they dont you will suffer a penalty on your framerates, luckily you can disable sli and run it on a single monitor to get acceptable performance.
