TEMP 2 on speed fan

my temp 2 on speed fan gets hot up to 65C when it does my gpu usage goes down and my cpu usage sky rockets. i need to know what temp 2 is so i know whether it is the north bridge or not so i don't spend money on north bridge shit and it not fix the problem. thank you

What exactly are you talking about? Are you referring to a PWM fan controller on your motherboard? What is your component list?

SPECS
core 2 quad q6600
8gb 1333 pny ram
asus r7 260x gpu
msi G41-M P33 combo motherboard which is the thing getting hot
arctic freezer 7 pro rev 2 cpu cooler
EVGA 600b 600w psu

the list is
temp1
temp2
temp3
gpu temp
core0
core1
core2
core3

and speedfan is something online that u download. i just need to know what temp2 means so i can fix my overheating problem. casue temp 2 is the only one that gets hot.

You would have to consult your motherboard manual. I downloaded the manual and quick start guide. The control center temperature zones seem to be CPU core temperatures if that is what you are referring to. The temperature zones in speedfan would be more relevant to an overheating problem.
