Is a RM750 Watts enough for 2 R9 280's in crossfire

Hi, so im preparing my parts for my pc build and I just want to know if a corsair RM750W 80+gold could power up 2 XFX r9 280's black edition

Is 750w plenty for this build or just enough? Thanks for the help

The graphics cards have a TDP of 250w each - that's overstated slightly, so let's say they're drawing about 450 total - then add 100 for msc components and 150 for your CPU. (taking random shots in the dark here because you didn't give us any info about the rest of your system and what it might be drawing... the power supply does have to power all that too, you know. :p)

Short answer: Yes, you're covered.

Long answer: Yes, you're covered - probably. If you have something extreme going on, you would know better than to not specify that.


That being said, bear in mind that you're going to be producing a lot of noise and a LOT of heat.

im planning to start off with a single gpu and add another one down the road BUT my main concern for this build is noise is that xfx r9 280 noisy?
