How far can I safely overclock this GPU, with this PSU?

Is the PSU listed below adequate for overclocking my GPU?

-mobo: Asus M5A97 LE R2.0
-GPU: XFX DD R9 280
-CPU: AMD 8320
-PSU: Corsair 600w +80 bronze (CX600 V2)

i've heard that CX's are not that good, i may be wrong though. but i think it's worth to do some research before you buy this one.

personally i like seasonic. you can check their lineup, they are one of the best, brand-wise

Yes you can overclock your gpu with that psu. Don't listen to the rubish people spin about not overclocking with the cx series. This psu will be fine for any basic to moderate overclock.
Im currently not able to calculate your pc's power usage so not sure on how much headroom you have there.

I am running on second Corsair CX 600 (sold the first one with my old system). No problems whatsoever over 18 months of use between the two.

I had a moderate overclock on my old system and similarly on my current system. My wax wattage is is the region of 420W after the power hungry R9 280x has sapped a bit more
