i have recently built a new custom pc with :
-b85-hd3 Gigabyte MB
-i5-4440 Intel cpu
-R9-270x Gigabyte 3x Windforce
-2X4 Dual channel hyper beast X Kingstone 2400 Mhz Ram
-Thermaltake 630 Smart series
-500 GB WD 5400 Rpm HDD
-K550 Cooler Master Midtower Case
i connect the pc with 47 inch lg 3d tv by the way
and from the very beginning after installing Windows 8.1 , i installed the latest Amd driver and it keeps popping up a "Display driver has stopped working & recovered successfully " message
i updated the bios to the latest version but it got me nowhere
i noticed also that 2400 Mhz Ram is not supported by the MB but the MB slowing it down to 1600 hz max.
So installed the windows again "tried windows 7 also " & again & again & so on the same message kept popping up pls help me I am in nightmare & so tired :(

Solution
Hi Hatem - there are three options really here
1. Graphics Processing Unit processing time needs to be increased
2. drivers need to be updated (this can be the case even in new OS)
3. performance issue due to a number of programs etc. running simultaneously.

I would try the GPU first, if this doesn't work run a free drivers scan at drivers.com, you can then look for the recommended drivers from the manufacturers website. Also, ensure that you have background programs closed so there is plenty of processing power available.

Hope this helps
