I am buying my first gaming PC

Not planing on over clocking the GPU or the CPU

I plan on buying standard 8GB 1600Mhz , GTX970 G1 gigabyte edition and I7 4790K

My new PC main purpose is playing DotA2 at 120FPS 1080P high settings while streaming
in a high quality.

What mother board will you recommend for this parts? Please keep in mind I am not going to overclock any part !

If you're not planing to OC then there is no need in 4790K. Something like 4770 would be ok for you. For the motherboard any on H87 chipset.

Any one of these three boards would be good for that CPU depending on what you want to spend. The Sabertooth is probably the best option as a balance of price versus features considering it has most of the features of the Hero, at least the ones that matter if you're not overclocking. The Z97-A is a good board too though. It's a more budget oriented model but it's pretty solid. The Hero speaks for itself. It's an ROG board.

BS, whether overclocking or not it's still a much better CPU. It has support for features not present in the 4770 plus 600mhz faster clock per core. 4Ghz clock with Turbo up to 4.4Ghz while the 4770 has 3.4Ghz clock and turbo only up to 3.9Ghz. The difference will be noticeable in any CPU dependent process. At a difference of only 37.00, I'd say it's well worth it by far.

It's ofc better and I agree with that, but where I live you have to pay 50 euros more for this CPU. If ts would use it for gaming most of the time the 4770 would shine as well. Ofcourse if money is not the problem and the cost difference is tiny it's a better choice all the way.

Yes, it would work, it's just not as strong of a performer.

I think that for the Dota 2 any of those CPU's is overkill. :)

Nothing is ever overkill, plus, if all you want to do is play what is in your lap now, you could get by with a stock Pentium G series CPU. But, when games have more stringent requirements for add ons, multi-player streaming, newer versions or if you want to play at the absolute best settings, it usually makes sense to get something that is beyond what you actually need right this moment. Besides, what if three days from now you decide, oh, I wanted to be able to play this other game too but it requires at least X and I only got Y. Now I'm sad. So at least some overkill is usually ok if not desireable.
