same 128bit GPUs, different specs, still don't get why it isn't a good replacement...

I was planning on replacing my Powercolor AMD HD 7750 2GB DDR3 because of it's poor performance under heavy load due to my Modded Skyrim. While hopping around the internet i found out that upgrading to a MSI GTX750Ti TF/OC 2GB DDR5 as some specific poster will say "it's Not much of an upgrade". But i as i check their specs i confirm that GTx 750Ti burns out the HD 7750 , so i was confused on why some people would say it's not much of an upgrade. Well considering some facts :

Powercolor HD 7750 2GB DDR3
- cheaper
- DDR3 version of this GPU isn't your type of GPU for 2k / heavily modded games / heavy games like Farcry 3, 19-22 FPS Vsync on Ultra / Very high, 20-30 FPS custom settings Vsync off, GTAVI Maximum Graphics edition 18-23 FPS all high, DECENT 30 FPS custom settings. Skyrim Modded with 2k Textures 20-42 FPS exterior cells, 50-60FPS interior cells with stutter & freezing.
- not good for overclocking
- not sure if those people i'd ask about the difference is smart / just hill-billy smart
- can run most games on 40-60 fps. tested on Metal Gear Rising MSAA off other settings very high, Sims 3, & outlast.

MSI GTX750Ti 2GB DDR5 TF/OC
-Much expensive compare to 7750 if bought as a replacement
-Higher specs than 7750
-much better for OC than 7750
-can handle heavy games at least for my case
-much more longer than 7750 which is a bit of issue for my Starrex black

-that aside i want to know if it's a safe bet for a replacement to go with since i would sell my current GPU so i could add it up for the replace GPU. And i still don't get it why GTX750 is "Not a good replacement/upgrade"
