Hi, so basically I got somebody to build me a PC for Christmas last year (2013) and ever since I have had trouble downloading things. The whole PC just freezes up, I can sometimes move the mouse but then other times I can't. its really getting annoying because when I can eventually download something the game is buggy because it hasn't downloaded correctly. I have tried replacing the network card and the Power supply but it is still crashing. Can somebody please help me??

System Specs:
CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5ghz 6 cores
Motherboard: Gigabyte 970A-DS3P
Memory: 16GB Corsiar vengence (2x8)
Graphics Card: Gigabyte Nvidia 650 2gb
Power Supply: EVGA supernova 750 Watt 80+ Gold
Network Card: TP-Link TL-WDN4800 450mbs
Hard drive: 2 TB

Is there any way you could try downloading the game when your PC is plugged in via an Ethernet cable? If you could do that it could help folks on the forum better identify if it's an issue with the network card or an issue elsewhere in the system.

Basically if you can download a game and have it download properly when your computer is plugged in via an Ethernet cable then we could assume that the Network Card is the issue but if you still have issues then it is likely an issue elsewhere.

Other thing I would immediately recommend is to ensure all your drivers are up to date because it could even be that maybe your Network Card's drivers are out of date (also ensure all the motherboard drivers are up to date)

let us know what you find :)
