Hello guys as the title says I want to build a gaming pc based on a gtx 670 that I got a few days ago .

The build should cost ( without the gpu of course ) about 400$ , and it has to be able to take full advantage of the perfomance that the gtx 670 can give .

Also if someone could recomend a monitor that is good for its price , that'd be great .

Thank you in advance :)

With your budget i think fx 6300 is the best choice. I prefer i5 but it wont fit in your budget...

Spending 100+$ on mobo to OC 60$ CPU is so funny. Why not to stick with something like B85 or H87? It's cheaper and still have OC features and would do the job well. Also I wouldn't sugest CX500 PSU cause it has only 408W on 12V rail. Go with the http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1550sxxb9. That would be a smarter choice for sure.

Hf ;)

Those two builds (Intel-one with my corrections) have their cons and pros. There is now the best solution cause it's a matter of preference.

I've tried both companies products a lot and i would say that for me Intel+Nvidia always worked perfect and my last rig built of i5/gtx. With AMD cpu's and gpu,s I had some problems which were serious and not. So you have to be ready to deal with some. For ex. last AMD gpu drivers have issues and the company confirmed it and recommend to stick with the old ones.

Anyway the FX6300 build is a good choice and I hope you'll ejoy your new build. Have fun.
