I have Acer Aspire V3-571g with Core i7 3rd gen processor. I want to upgrade the memory to 8GB. Which memory would have a better performance:

Corsair Vengeance CMSX4GX3M1A1600C9 (2x4GB)

http://www.corsair.com/en/vengeance-4gb-high-performanc...

Patriot Signature DDR3L 4GB PC3-12800 (1600MHz) CL11 SODIMM (2x4GB)

Thanks

Both have same memory size and speed. But the corsair has higher latency speed and vengeance series is more popular. I would get the corsair model over patriot.

The Corsair is better. Both are 1600MHz but the Corsair is CL9 not CL11 like Patriot one. I'd get the Corsair. How much are they?

Yes, price is one concern. If the patriot is significantly less price, go for the patriot because you don't notice much difference between CL9 and CL11 unless you are doing works like 3D, photo/video editing, rendering..

Well, Patriot is ineed cheaper than Corsair. I plan to use the laptop for gamming. It has a GeForce with 2GB and is quite good for most actual games.
I think that if the difference between both memories is very little, then I might go for Patriot because of the price.

games don't give a difference between those CL times. Games just need a decent RAM memory and speed (4 GB or higher and 1066 MHz - my laptop). Go for the patriot.

If price difference is more than 10% then get the Patriot.
