Hello,I am a gamer whop plays alot everyday. lately i felt like i want to clean the fan of my laptop bcause of having much dust in it. i know how to clean at least the fan and the dust in the heatsink because i have done it last year. so i had continued to clean it while cleaning the fan i saw that the thermal compound is dried and it has so much putted in the cards so i felt like cleaning it for the first time and reapply the thermal compnd. then i feel wonderful cause I can play games now with high fps rate but something happens.
I started my laptop to play online games(LOL). while on the loading screen, the screen goes black and the laptop has shutted down. when i restarted it. I noticed that the gpu temp. becomes so very high.. from 40*C of my last use, becomes 65*C & above in playing games and when i try to stress the gpu it becomes higher up to 100*C and above. it happens to me for the first time so i think the problem is the compound so I put the thermal compound again and again and see what happens, but nothing was changed.
i think i am at false at applying the thermal compound, so may i have a guide of what to do.. i think i haven't done any other changes on my laptop and the only problem is Thermal Compound I guess...
